The acrylic knit is surprisingly dense without being stiff, and the 0-4Mo size fits our newborn’s head perfectly without slipping over her ears. This is the third beanie we’ve tried and the only one she hasn’t fought to pull off.

We bought the 1-3Yr size for our son and it fits snugly without being tight, and the 100% acrylic held up fine after a few washes already. He actually keeps it on, which is a win for a nine-month-old who hates hats.

The acrylic is genuinely soft—not the scratchy kind you usually find at this price—and it stretches just enough to slip on without making my son fuss. We’ve been using the 4-12Mo size for three weeks and the ribbed cuff stays put.
