Our Swimmies are styled after a more euro-fit. Meaning, the length of the shorts will land anywhere between a little above the knee to mid-thigh-ish (depending on the length of the child). It is designed this way--its our style!
This swimsuit has a mesh lining.

Our sizes are true-to-size based on the child's age. What this means is the average sized kid--about 50% on the growth charts--is used as the barometer for waist sizing.

If you have a child who's age fits evenly between the ranges, or you know is larger than average, it might be best to size up rather than to size down.

Adult sizes have the same cut as our child styles. The Swimmie will land above the knee and potentially up to mid-thigh depending on the individuals height.

The length lands right at mid-thigh on my daughter, and that euro-fit is exactly what we wanted for the pool. The shorts stay put even after a full afternoon of cannonballs, which is more than I can say for her old suits.

My kid lives in this thing now. The euro-fit cut is exactly what we wanted—shorts hit mid-thigh and don't ride up when he cannonballs off the diving board.

Leo U. ★★★★★

The length is perfect—hits right above the knee on my tall 7-year-old, so he's got room to grow but no drag in the pool. The euro-fit cut feels more streamlined than the baggy shorts we've tried before, and he says they don't ride up when he's diving.
