The 50/50 cotton-poly blend holds up way better than the pure cotton crewnecks we had before, no shrinking after several washes. My 8-year-old wears it constantly and it still looks new.
The cotton-poly blend feels genuinely sturdy after a dozen washes, and the crewneck kept its shape while my kid ran around the yard all afternoon. We grabbed the 12/L for my oldest and it fits true to size with room to grow.
