Ordered a 12/L for my tall 8-year-old and the 5% elastane makes all the difference—he can actually get it over his head without a fight. The 95% cotton keeps its shape after a few washes, which is rare for his size.

The stretch from that 5% elastane is perfect, lets my kid actually move at the playground without the shirt riding up. Sized up to the 12/L and the fit is roomy but not baggy, and the cotton feels thick enough to survive a few washes. Definitely grabbing another one for the fall.

The 95% cotton blend has held up well through a dozen washes, and the 5% elastane gives it just enough stretch for my kid to move around without it riding up. Fits true to the size chart, which is a relief. Only wish it came in a couple more color options.
