My 2-year-old refuses to take this off, even at naptime. The pink cord handle makes it easy for her to grab it herself, and at 18 months it wasn't too big, but a 5-year-old would still get plenty of wear out of it.
My daughter is 3 and she loves carrying her little toys around in this. The pink cord handle is easy for her to grab, and the size is perfect for her—it doesn't swamp her tiny frame. It's clearly not for school stuff, but for a day out it's just right.
The zipper is surprisingly smooth for such a small bag, and my daughter can easily pull it open herself. It’s the perfect size for her snacks and a toy when we go to the park.
