Ordered the 12/L for my 12-year-old and the fit is spot on, not boxy like most kids' crewnecks. Washed it twice already and the cotton-poly blend hasn't pilled or shrunk. He basically lives in it now.
The cotton-polyester blend handled a full season of recess and laundry without pilling or fading, which honestly surprised me. My son actually asked to wear it again the next day, and the fit through the shoulders is roomy enough for layering.
Bought the 12/L size for my 11-year-old and it fits him with room to grow, which is exactly what I wanted. The 50/50 cotton-poly blend keeps its shape after a few washes so far, and he says it’s comfy enough to wear all day at school.
