Bought this for my 3-year-old and the unstructured fit means it actually stays on his head instead of sliding off. The blue paneling hides the inevitable playground dirt, which is a bonus. Washed it once already and it came out looking the same.

The cotton is genuinely soft, no scratchy seams rubbing behind his ears like his old cap did. And the unstructured fit means it actually folds into my bag without losing its shape.
