The cotton blend is soft right out of the package, no stiff break-in period at all. My little one's been wearing the 12/L nonstop and the elastane keeps the shape even after a few washes.

The cotton blend is super soft and the little stretch from the elastane means it actually fits my kid without riding up. Ordered the 12/L for my tall seven-year-old and it's roomy enough to last the season.

I was worried the 5% elastane would make it too clingy, but it actually stretches just right for my kid's constant wiggling. Sizing from 6-12Mo up to 12/L meant I could grab a couple years ahead without guessing wrong.
