The weave on this straw hat is tighter than I expected, so it actually blocks the glare instead of letting light through like my old one. Wore it all afternoon at the beach and the wide brim kept my face and neck fully shaded, no burns at all. The straw feels sturdy enough for daily wear, though I'm careful not to crush it when packing. Exactly the sun coverage I wanted.

The moss color is even prettier in person, and the straw weave feels tight and well-made. I’ve worn it on two sunny hikes already and it stayed put without squeezing my head. Just have to remember it’s not for rain, which is fine by me.
